By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies referred to in them.

2. Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours, textures, finishes, fragrances, and other product information displayed on the website are accurate.

As each AANCHÉ piece is handcrafted, minor variations in colour, glaze, texture, finish, shape, or appearance are natural characteristics of handmade production and do not constitute a defect where the product otherwise conforms to its description.

Nothing in this section excludes any consumer right or remedy available under applicable law for products that are defective, deficient, materially different from their advertised characteristics, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise fail to conform to the order.

3. Product Information

4. Prices & Taxes

All prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees (₹).

The total amount payable, including applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges, will be displayed before completing your purchase.

AANCHÉ may revise prices, offers, or promotions at any time. Such changes will not affect the price of an already confirmed order, except where cancellation or refund is required due to an obvious pricing error or as required under applicable law.

5. Orders

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product.

An order is considered accepted only after AANCHÉ issues an order confirmation or otherwise communicates acceptance. Receipt of payment alone does not constitute acceptance of an order.

We may decline or cancel an order if:

• The product is unavailable

• An obvious pricing or listing error exists

• The transaction appears fraudulent or unauthorized

• Delivery cannot reasonably be completed

• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent fulfilment

• Cancellation is otherwise permitted under applicable law

If we cancel a paid order, the applicable refund will be processed to the original payment method.

6. Payment

Payments are securely processed through third-party payment service providers, including Razorpay, Cashfree, or any other payment provider made available at checkout.

Payment credentials are processed directly by the relevant provider. AANCHÉ does not intentionally collect or store complete card details, CVV, UPI PINs, or banking passwords on its own systems.

7. Processing & Delivery

Orders are generally processed within 2–3 business days after successful payment, unless a different processing timeline is stated on the relevant product page or at checkout.

Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 5–7 business days, depending on the destination and shipping distance.

The estimated total timeline from placing an order to delivery is 7–10 business days.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier operations, public holidays, weather conditions, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation requests may be submitted by emailing hello@aanche.in or through our customer support channel.

Requests received before an order enters processing will generally be considered.

Once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory cancellation or refund rights available under applicable law.

9. Returns, Refunds & Defective Products

AANCHÉ does not generally accept returns or exchanges solely because a customer:

• Changes their mind

• Orders the wrong product

• Does not prefer the fragrance

• Orders the incorrect quantity

However, we will provide any remedy required under applicable law where a product is:

• Defective

• Deficient

• Incorrectly supplied

• Materially different from its advertised or agreed characteristics

• Otherwise eligible for a statutory consumer remedy

10. Candle Safety

Candles involve an open flame and must be used responsibly.

Customers must follow all candle-care and safety instructions provided with the product.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Keep away from children and pets.

• Keep away from curtains, paper, furniture, and other combustible materials.

• Burn only on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

• Discontinue use according to the care instructions supplied with the candle.

To the extent permitted by law, AANCHÉ is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions.

11. Intellectual Property

The AANCHÉ name, logo, product designs, ceramic vessel designs, photographs, videos, graphics, written content, and website design are owned by or licensed to House of Aanche unless otherwise stated.

No material may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, or commercially used without prior written permission.

12. Website Use

You agree not to use this website:

• For unlawful purposes

• To commit fraud

• To interfere with website security or functionality

• To gain unauthorized access

• To submit false or misleading information

• To infringe the rights of AANCHÉ or any third party

13. Reviews & User Content

Where customers submit reviews, photographs, feedback, or other content, they must ensure that the content is truthful, lawful, and does not infringe another person's rights.

AANCHÉ does not knowingly create, publish, or promote fake consumer reviews or misrepresent the characteristics of its products.

Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

15. Force Majeure

AANCHÉ shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, transportation disruptions, government restrictions, war, civil disturbances, widespread technical failures, or similar events.

Nothing in this clause removes any consumer remedy available under applicable law.

16. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any statutory consumer rights, remedies, liabilities, or protections that cannot legally be excluded under Indian law.

Subject to the above, AANCHÉ shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or products where such limitation is legally permissible.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Any changes will become effective upon publication on this page together with the revised Last Updated date.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer's right to seek remedies before a competent Consumer Commission, court, regulator, or other authority having jurisdiction under applicable law.
